Driving Directions

1. In Lewiston, follow the brown and white signs to Hells Gate State Park. The entrance to the park is 1.4 miles south of the east end of the Southway Bridge as it crosses the Snake River from Clarkston Washington to Lewiston Idaho.
2. Turn right (west) on Hells Gate Road into Hells Gate State Park. Go one mile to the Jack O'Connor Center Access Road.
3. Take the Jack O'Connor Center Access Road (first road to the left past the Tammany Creek bridge) to the parking lot at the Jack O'Connor Hunting Heritage and Education Center (approximately 300 yards).
